IMPROVEMENTS TO STRATFORD ROAD SANDY

During the summer, the hedgerow and verges need to be kept short! As a well used recreational road, walkers should not have to encounter nettles and prickly vegetation when they have to stand to one side to allow traffic to pass.

As a designated cycle route - although Central Beds appears not to have properly completed their responsibilities in this respect - the road should be maintained appropriately.

The roundabout on the Potton Road is badly positioned and would have been better placed at Swaden's junction with Potton Road to help reduce the speed of cars as they approach Sandy.

The lights on the pelican crossing are too bright as they distract approaching motorists to the detriment of the safe negotiation of the mini roundabout.
